Why Join a Committee?
Our committees are a great way to:
- Build valuable industry relationships
- Contribute your expertise to impactful initiatives
- Stay informed and engaged with key developments
How It Works
- Monthly Virtual Meetings: Committees typically meet once a month via video conference.
- Leadership & Support: Each committee is led by a Chair who ensures progress, facilitates collaboration, and submits a monthly report to the Board of Governors (BOG).
- Collaboration with the BOG: The Board provides oversight, guidance, and support for committee-led research, special requests, events, and educational opportunities.
Education Committee
Education Committee (operational growth – supporting growth from within)
The Education and Programs Committee provides educational opportunities for our membership and coordinates speakers, instructors, event dates and venues. Programs can be educational in nature or social. Such as Tri-State Mortgage Conference, New England Mortgage Brokers Conference and more. This Committee oversees the Association’s flagship educational programs, Principles of Mortgage Banking I and Principles of Mortgage Banking II (advanced). This committee also participates in providing approved continuing education credits for realtors, bridging Loan Originators (CMP’s) with the real estate broker community.
There is no minimum limit for membership on this committee, the more the merrier, the better brainstorming and diversity in programs!
The committee meets virtually on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:00AM. If you are not on the Education Committee but would like to join or attend a committee meeting, please email [email protected] for the meeting link.

We speak with a single voice and take a stance on important issues facing our industry. Our Legislative Committee works diligently during the NH Legislative Session. We provide critical testimony on bills affecting our industry and serve as a resource to legislators.

MBBA-NH PAC: The Political Action Committee (PAC) is a voluntary, non-partisan committee that directly represents the interests of the real estate finance industry in the State of NH’s political system. It is the industry’s voice for helping to elect legislative candidates who understand and have concern about our views relevant to current and proposed legislation at the state level. Our elected officials decide on important issues that impact our industry. It is critical that our voice be heard.
